Film Festival to feature Shoals Musicians
February 29, 2012 -The George Lindsey UNA Film Festival will continue its tradition this year of featuring local artists at entertainment events. Chris Roach will perform at FloBama Thursday, March 1, from 4-6, for the Lindsey Film Festival’s Kick-Off Party. Roach will be joined by Heath Bain and Melissa Daniel Bain for the party following the 15th Annual Awards Show on Saturday, March 3, 7pm, at UNA’s East Campus. Roach and Heath Bain recently had their song “Walk On” featured in the film “Doonby.” Hugh and Caleb Banks will perform for guests prior to the Awards Show. Read More
FILM FESTIVAL PRESS PASSES AVAILABLE AT FESTIVAL WELCOME CENTER NEXT WEEK
FLORENCE, Ala. – Press passes for next week’s George Lindsey UNA Film Festival will be available at the festival welcome center March 2-5. The welcome center will be at The Wine Seller, located at 324 N. Court Street in downtown Florence. Welcome Center hours will be: March 2, 1-5 p.m.; March 3, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; March 4, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; March 5, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Press passes may be reserved by contacting Cynthia Burkhead, festival director, at caburkhead@una.edu.
