Alabama Feature Films Earn Two Screening Spots at Film Festival
February 21, 2012 -Alabama native Kenton Bartlett’s feature film “Missing Pieces” is as much a story of a filmmaker’s determination as it is a story of a slovenly loner’s determination to put back together the pieces of his life. With little money to make the film, Bartlett instead relied on resourcefulness to get celebrated actor Mark Boone Junior (“Sons of Anarchy,” “Batman Begins,” “Memento”) and Melora Walters (“Big Love,” “Butterfly Effect,” “Cold Mountain”) for the film, in which many scenes were shot outdoors to save on lighting costs. Actor Mark Boone Junior will join Kenton Bartlett for the screening of “Missing Pieces” at the Lindsey Film Festival on Saturday, March 3, at 1 pm; Bartlett and Boone Junior will also be on hand for the Q&A following the screening at the Zodiac Theatre.
